Eileen Conti, MD |
Dr. Conti is a board-certified ophthalmologist, who is fellowship trained in refractive surgery, including Laser Vision Correction (LASIK and PRK), corneal transplantation, and cataract surgery. She has been performing Laser Vision Correction for over ten years. She is experienced in many refractive procedures including LASIK, IntraLASIK, PRK, AK, and near-vision CK.
After attending the University of Pennsylvania for her undergraduate schooling and receiving her Masters Degree in Physiology from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA, she earned her medical doctor degree from Jefferson Medical College also in Philadelphia. She then completed her ophthalmology residency at St. Francis Medical Center/Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA where she was Chief Resident during her final year of residency. Her corneal and refractive surgery fellowship was done at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston/New England Medical Center in Boston, Mass. with internationally-known refractive surgeons.
Dr. Conti is an author of numerous articles in such well-known publications as Archives of Ophthalmology, Pennsylvania Medicine, and Neuropharmacology. She has presented several research projects at the annual Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) meetings and performed research at the famous Will’s Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology.
