Dr. Amy Stein, Director of Optometry
Dr. Amy Stein graduated from SUNY College of Optometry. She interned at OMNI Miami where she trained with a prominent corneal surgeon and gained extensive experience in refractive surgery. After receiving her degree, Dr. Stein worked in various modalities of Optometry before joining Diamond Vision 7 years ago. She is currently the Director of Optometry, responsible for overseeing all optometric aspects of care in our 7 offices. She is also involved in the Optometry co-management program and continuing education seminars.

Dr. Christine Kantor-Kempski
Dr. Christine Kantor-Kempski graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry with a Doctorate in Optometry and received clinical honors on her externships. Prior to completing her degree, Dr. Kantor-Kempski completed extensive clinical training at the Filatov Eye Institute, conducting pre and post operative care in laser vision correction. She serves as an adviser to doctors in the community who are considering referring patients to Diamond Vision for laser vision correction. Dr. Kantor-Kempski is also in charge of training and supervising Optometry interns. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Society. |

Dr. Dara Shalom
Dr. Shalom graduated with honors from the New England College of Optometry in 2002. She gained extensive training and experience in ocular disease while interning at OMNI Eye Services. Upon completing her externships, Dr. Shalom provided services in various optical boutiques. During that time, she worked alongside a premier Manhattan corneal specialist, where she performed pre- and post-operative examinations to patients who had undergone laser vision correction. After several years of practice, Dr. Shalom decided to focus her career on refractive surgery. She joined the staff of Diamond Vision in December 2006. |
